In this sermon, our pastor, Rev. Osias Correia, reads 1 Corinthians 11:17 and leads us to think about the problems that the apostle Paul faced regarding the way the church in Corinth dealt with the Lord's Supper in memory of Our Lord. This is the 1st Presbyterian Church in Porto Alegre, present in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul since 1953. The Presbyterian Church of Brazil, in turn, has been present since 1860 and the first Presbyterian church in the world (Scotland) was founded in 1559. Our mission is to be a community of disciples of Jesus whose supreme objective is the Glory of God and serving Him in the world through worship, love, proclamation, service and discipleship.
