How much do we know about our own bodies? Who decides what we know about sex? Where does myth end and reality begin? How do we leave mandates behind and make room for desire? Based on these questions, Sztajnszrajber and Cecilia Ce propose in this talk to dismantle the hegemonic discourses built on sexuality to provide reflections that allow us to relate in healthier ways between all of us. From the conceptions of the French philosopher and sociologist Michael Foucault, Sztajnszrajber deconstructs the links between sex and power, delving into traditional attempts to depoliticize sexuality. Cecilia Ce, for her part, analyzes the myths and realities around desire, love, eroticism, excitement and connection with the body. Sex as an examination, as consumption and the industrialization of sexuality are other topics addressed in this conversation, which also opens up reflections around monogamy and the new possible relationship models.
