◼︎ On December 19, 1932, Dr. Yun Bong-gil was executed at an execution ground near Osaka, Japan. On April 29, 1932, Yun Bong-gil threw a bomb at the Japanese military leadership during a Japanese Independence Day event held at Hongkou Park in Shanghai, China. Japanese military leaders, including Yoshinori Shirakawa, the commander-in-chief of the Japanese army dispatched to Shanghai, died on the spot or were seriously injured. Chiang Kai-shek praised the Koreans for accomplishing what 400 million Chinese could not, and supported the provisional government.
