Today I'm doing the Books vs. Films TAG for you - including the post-credit scene ???? Many thanks to Emily from @zeilenwerft for tagging! I'm tagging Claudia from @BookButterflies myself and hope she's up for the TAG! I would be delighted if you answered one or two questions in the comments & left me a little love if you liked it! ???? __________________ 1. You're out and about in the city without an umbrella and it starts to rain heavily. Do you tend to flee to a bookstore, the cinema or a café? 2. Do you mostly watch films by chance and casually on TV or streaming when you're too tired to read? Or do you choose films as consciously as your reading material? 3. Do you have a film collection/SUF (stack of unwatched films) at home? 4. Have films ever - or perhaps often - led you to great reading discoveries? 5. Have you ever liked a film so much that you didn't want to read the book it was based on for fear of being disappointed? 6. When you see a film adaptation of a book, can you keep your reading and film impressions separate? Or do the faces and characteristics of the actors overwrite the faces and characteristics of the characters you had in mind? 7. If you get to know the film first and then the book - do the film cast and the film camera shape your reading imagination? 8. Are your favorite film and literature genres the same? Or do you prefer different ones depending on the medium? Which ones? 9. Do you remember the names of directors like the names of authors? If not, why not? 10. How would you like a film adaptation of literature to be - strictly true to the book or as free as possible with lots of your own ideas? 11. What is your favorite film adaptation? And which do you find particularly hideous? 12. Which book should finally be made into a film again or even made into a film for the first time? _____________________________ As always, advertising is solely due to the brand name being mentioned.
