We are Hugo and Nuria, a few months ago we bought a Peugeot Boxer L3 H2 van to do a camper conversion. From van to camper (motorhome) without any previous experience. Here we leave you a time lapse of the 5 months we have spent camperizing. It contains the step by step of how to build a camper from start to finish. The step by step, from 0 to the end: 0- Clean 1- Insulate the entire interior with kaiflex. (except window area) 2- Place the folding windows and portholes and install the skylight. 3- Place the grey water tank under the van. 4- Remove the load separator. 5- Overlay the 4 layers that form the floor (phenolic wood panels, kaiflex, seven-layer aluminum insulation and vinyl flooring). 6- Install the electrical circuit cables for ALL future plugs and switches. 7- Insulation of corners (beam holes) and doors with fiberglass wool. 8- Installation of the solar panel. 9- Lathing the entire interior (with slats screwed to the beams of the van) 10- Insulation of the entire interior of the van with 7 layers of aluminum insulation (vapour barrier). 11- Paneling the walls, screwing the fir wood slats to the slats (paneling). 12- Installing the pipes and the drain and placing the shower tray. 13- Making the walls of the sink and painting them with 8 layers of water-resistant white paint. 14- Placing the vent channel of the sink and installing it. 15- Fitting the walls, screwing them together and sealing them with silicone. 16- Making the structure of the floating bed and its respective bed base. 17- Installing the clean water tank (150 liters) and anchoring it to the floor. 18- Make the sofa frame with chest-type seats so that they can also be used as storage. 19- Make the floating living room cabinets (frame) and their respective paneling and place their doors. 20- Make the living room furniture by structuring it. Create the drawers and their different cabinets. Cut the countertop to the size of the furniture and screw it in place. 21- Make a lift-up extension of the countertop, which will connect the living room furniture to the kitchen. 22- Make the kitchen structure based on the size of the appliances that will be installed in it, the structure of the wall that will separate the driving cabin area from the interior area and the structure of the tall floating cabinet. 23- Panel everything, and make the countertop to measure taking into account the sink, faucet and oven. 24- Make all the connections (sink, faucet, stove and refrigerator) and seal the countertop to the structure and sink with silicone. 25- Make the gas-tight cabinet with its respective ventilation grille. 26- With all the electrical installation that we had already placed previously, we make all the electrical connections (lights, sockets, appliances, skylight, auxiliary battery, water pump, inverter and control panels, etc.). 27- We make the table, and we put a base on it so that it can be fitted to the foot of the table. We will install the latter by anchoring it to the wall of the sofa. 28- We make the shelves and place them. 29- We make the folding bathroom door and install it. 30- We do the anti-fungal and anti-insect wood treatment. 31- We varnish all surfaces with a special varnish for interiors. 32- And finally we place the kitchen tiles. ???????????????????? ????????????????????????????????: We are Hugo & Nuria, a couple with the desire to know the world.
