The film monitors the lives of the people of northern Sudan and how palm trees shape every detail of their daily economic, social and artistic lives, represented in their homes, events and poetry. It sheds light on the emotional relationship of the Sudanese people with palm trees. It also addresses the relationship of the population with government institutions in how taxes are collected. The film follows the stages of pollination of palm trees on the banks of the Nile and the relationship between the Nile and palm trees and their impact on the development of the land.
