Half an hour of morning yoga for an energetic start to the day! This routine helps you wake up your body and prepare for the day with calm and strength. It is a yoga sequence for the whole body with strengthening and mobilizing exercises, so that by practicing this sequence regularly you build up both strength and flexibility. This routine is great, especially if you, like me, are a bit slow in the morning and sometimes have problems getting your circulation going. We start with a gentle warm-up and then slowly build up. We go through a few flowing sun salutations and standing poses, a few navasanas (core exercises) and backbends (for that extra kick in the morning ;), as well as seated twists and a forward bend before our final relaxation.
