It seems that the Yellowfin Tuna Festival has started again this year off the coast of Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture! This time, we boarded the "Kishimaru" and set out off the coast of Kushimoto Shiomisaki, Wakayama Prefecture! Recently, it seems that there are many bites on the first cast in the morning, so we put our energy into casting, but there was no sign of it. At around 8:30, about two and a half hours after we started fishing, the rod next to me got a hit! 170 meters of line was pulled out in one go, and it felt like a big one. Maybe we were too careful, but it didn't come up for a long time, so we entered a long battle! We cast the ring, and the stalemate continued with about 30 meters left, and finally the reel was destroyed, and on top of that, the handle was also wobbly, and it was all over! The boatman and I both joined in, and after a struggle to reel in the remaining 30 meters of line by hand, the battle was over in about an hour! What came up was a giant about 70 kg! It was 61 kg with the guts removed (^^)/ It was a magnificent yellowfin tuna of Kushimon class! The Yellowfin Tuna Festival has just begun, and I'm looking forward to what's to come (^^♪ ◆Click here for the Kishimaru website↓↓ https://minnaga.com/kisimaru/ ◆Click here for a video on how to make Yellowtail Tuna tuna↓↓ • [Fish cooking] Cook the fish you caught (Yellowtail and Seabream) ◆Click here for the Toryumaru Fisheries website↓↓ https://shinkin-otoriyose.jp/detail/l... 0:00 Opening 2:55 Departure 5:33 Start of fishing 7:23 Finally a bite! 14:00 Ring cast 32:02 Electric reel is destroyed, it's all over! 34:32 Reeling in the line with just your arm (hand) 39:02 5m left!
