Vivian (29) works as a job agent. She came to the Dortmund Job Center as a career changer. Her job: helping others to find work again. To do this, she supports her customers with applications, advises them on funding and keeps in regular contact with them. Behind every measure there is a person. Anyone who has ever had to fill out an application for the Job Center knows that the work here is very precise. It is important to Vivian to meet people on an equal footing. Vivian came to the Dortmund Job Center (a joint facility of the Federal Employment Agency and the City of Dortmund) as a career changer. She is employed by the Federal Employment Agency. After graduating from high school, she studied primary school teaching in Dortmund. However, as she could never really get used to the school system, she switched to the Job Center after a short time as an employed primary school teacher - and found her dream job.
