Every day, a priest exhorts us; Today we are with Father Jérôme, chaplain of the French-speaking community in Japan, who helps us meditate on the following Word: Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke At that time, Jesus told his disciples a parable about the need for them to always pray without losing heart: “There was in a city a judge who did not fear God or respect people. In that same city, there was a widow who came to him asking, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a long time he refused; then he said to himself, ‘Even if I do not fear God or respect anyone, since this widow is beginning to bother me, I will give her justice so that she will no longer come constantly tormenting me.’” The Lord added: “Listen carefully to what this judge who is devoid of justice says! And would God not give justice to his elect, who cry out to him day and night? Does he make them wait? I tell you that he will give them justice very quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth? - Let us acclaim the Word of God. #Wordoftheday #Homily #Gospeloftheday
