Tram shunting operation at Adlershof S-Bahn station, then with the Reko Tram line 60 on December 18th, 1993 from Adlershof via Köpenick to Friedrichshagen. Only a year previously, the tram to Alglienicke from Adlershof S-Bahn station was discontinued forever, so there was a coupling terminus here instead of a turning loop. The driver of my tram, a Reko tram, had nerves of steel and always kept calm despite numerous chaotic drivers driving in the opposite direction of the single-track tram on Dörpfeldstrasse. Exactly 25 years later, the railcar 3006 shown in this video, with its previous ivory paintwork and the old number 223 006-4, is still rolling along happily at the British museum tram in Crich, even with the original destination conveyor belt of the then line 84 to Altglienicke! • Historic Berlin Tram at Crich Tramway...
