The Generation Z that we cover in the following video covers the period from 1996 to 2009. Generation Z is characterized by being the first generation that began using the Internet from childhood. Which makes them the generation that is supposed to know how to use social networks better. This generation tends to be more reserved in their daily lives than their millennial predecessors, but when it comes to social networks, it is a completely different story. A characteristic feature of this generation is that, in the most industrialized or moderately industrialized countries, there are fewer of them than their predecessor generation. Countries with the highest population growth rate are another story. It is important to mention this, since, being a generation with less social interaction and less population, what can be expected is that the tendency of this generation is not to have as many children. This is a trend that not only belongs to Generation Z, but also to millennials. Having said that on the demographic issue, the population growth rate is decreasing and this phenomenon is interesting to determine the topic of this video: will Generation Z have houses? The decrease in the world population is certainly a positive thing for this generation. However, the question is more complex than in the case of millennials. The most interesting part of all this would be the following question: If the world population is decreasing and the expectation of having children is low, will generation Z really need to own a house? It may be that at some point it will be more convenient to live renting, really renting has long ceased to be the million-dollar and prosperous business that everyone thinks it is, only Airbnb is interesting. We still don't know the answer, I think the answer depends on each particular case.
