Bryansk Tractor Plant is one of the youngest agricultural machinery enterprises in Russia, which was established on the basis of Bryansk Arsenal in 2018. Initially, BTZ worked in cooperation with the Kharkov plant. However, at present, the holding is actively developing independently. Today we will show you the BTZ-254K.20 wheeled tractor. The equipment has four driving wheels and an articulated frame, the machine belongs to general-purpose agricultural tractors of traction class 4. The tractor is equipped with a six-cylinder YaMZ engine with a rated power of 250 hp and a reinforced hydromechanical gearbox providing 12 forward gears in 3 ranges and 4 reverse in 1 range. The machine is designed to perform energy-intensive agricultural work, including plowing, continuous cultivation, harrowing, sowing, as well as transport work with trailers with a total weight of up to 20 tons. The design allows year-round use of the tractor in areas with a moderate climate, as well as the most efficient processing of small-contour fields and lands with complex terrain, which is extremely important for medium and small agricultural enterprises. The equipment is equipped with a 430-liter fuel tank, permanent drive to both axles, a frame cabin with air conditioning, plastic trim, a rear-mounted device with a lifting capacity of up to 5 tons and an independent PTO at 540 or 1000 rpm. The machine weighing 8.6 tons has a wheelbase of 2860 mm and an agrotechnical clearance of 400 mm. The minimum turning radius is 6.7 meters. The clutch is a dry single-disk. The hydraulic system pump capacity is 100 l/min. BTZ-254K.20 is a serial unit, but this year another new product of the plant was presented in Russia - the BTZ-4230 tractor.
