Hello Producer, A DAW is, without a doubt, one of the main work tools for anyone who produces music. Choosing a DAW well is extremely important, and knowing how to use it is even more important. There is no point in having a super cool DAW and not using even 30% of what it is capable of providing. When I opened IM in 2016, I started producing for DJs, bands, and singers. I gave in-person classes, and so I decided to invest in Protools as my main DAW for work. I received several projects and files already pre-produced in Protools, and since I thought it was still a reference DAW in the market, I decided to adopt it as my main DAW. Years have passed and a lot has changed. Several DAWs have improved, and in my case, my Business Model has changed. Currently, my focus is no longer producing for DJs, Bands, and Singers, but rather producing my own music and soundtracks, having online courses, Mentoring classes, and the IM Community. For this exact reason and others that I talk about in this video, I decided to switch from PROTOOLS to LOGIC PRO X.
