In the first part of the video you will learn the location of the notes on the staff, in the second part, the location of these same notes on the instrument and in the third part you will apply all this knowledge to two songs. It is important that you put the name of the notes above each note in the scores provided. You can put the name of the pencil/mechanical pencil, so when you feel fluent you can erase and play the score directly on the instrument without notes. Learning sheet music is slow at first. It takes a while to recognize which notes are represented on the paper and which notes to play on the keyboard/piano, just as it took you a while to put letters together into syllables when you were learning to read. After a while, reading sheet music, like writing, becomes increasingly fluent and fast, and you will feel how good it is to be able to play any piece of music recorded on the staff.
