Alessandro Lima was a Lutheran from the age of 5 to 23. At 24, he became a Pentecostal and then became a staunch anti-Catholic. While arguing on the Internet with enlightened Catholics, he had direct contact with the Church Fathers for the first time and began to realize that the Early Church was Catholic. The last remaining obstacle was the issue of the biblical canon until, upon coming into contact with the history of the Gutenberg Bible (almost 100 years before the Reformation), he realized that the Deuterocanonical books were already present in the Catholic Bible. After this discovery, in May 2000, he decided to become Catholic. In 2002, he founded one of the most important and well-known Catholic apostolates on the Internet: Veritatis Splendor.
