One of the pillars that has supported the story of House of The Dragon is a supposed prophetic dream that Aegon I Targaryen, The Conqueror, had and passed on to his heirs during the history of Westeros. In the HBO spin-off series, this dream is Rhaenyra Targaryen's main motivation to begin the Dance of the Dragons. However, this dream does not appear in Fire and Blood or in any other book of A Song of Ice and Fire. This makes it a weak conviction for the plot.
