And although there have been many million-dollar winners and real superbrains, there are of course always other special features, like in this episode: the prize is €500. On Monday evening, student Torben Schnepper-Chimento is on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” He answers the first few questions confidently, but then he starts to flounder. "According to the Old Testament, Lot's wife turns into a...?" reads presenter Günther Jauch. The possible answers: A) pillar of salt B) advertising column C) gas pump D) emergency telephone column. The background is a story from the Bible: When God destroys the sinful city of Sodom, Lot and his wife are allowed to flee, but are instructed not to look back. Lot's wife turns around anyway - and turns into a pillar of salt. Jauch smiles after reading out the question, but the candidate seems to be blank. "Lot's wife?" he asks. "You know, you always need pilots on cruise ships like this," jokes Jauch. "And you've heard that he always has his wife with him." The presenter refers to a previous candidate who works as an officer on a cruise ship. "And if something happens then, what happens to the pilot's wife?" "She has to call the emergency number," murmurs Schnepper-Chimento. Jauch puts his hand to his head and laughs. "I never thought that this would become a super question." The candidate reads the question out loud again. "Who is Lot? And why does he have a wife?" Schnepper-Chimento pulls the audience joker. The result is clear: 99 percent of viewers choose the salt pillar. One percent choose the advertising pillar. Jauch groans indignantly and reports to the director: "Please tell me where the advertising pillar is? Immediately! I want to know immediately!" The advertising pillar is sitting in the front row, a man in a hoodie. Jauch holds out a microphone to him. "I just wanted an autograph," says the viewer. "What?" asks Jauch indignantly, "and that's why you pressed the wrong button?" Laughter in the audience. "I note with disgust and indignation how you are abusing this show. But the idea was clever." And Jauch immediately rewards this cleverness. He puts his autograph on a piece of paper and writes: "For the clever Andi." This episode of WWM will definitely go down in the history of the format. Of course, there are not only the funniest parts, but there is also commentary, parody and analysis - from the one and only OnionDog! Have fun! #wwm #werwirdmillionär #jauch
