The third program in the Thinkers series brought Professor Roberto Bolzani Filho to talk about the life and work of perhaps one of the most important philosophers of Antiquity: Aristotle – called by Christian theologians who studied him, centuries later, as The Philosopher. Among the central points of the conversation, in addition to a brief biography of the Greek, we can highlight his pioneering discoveries in the area of biology (centuries before Darwin), his investigation of the human soul (which Freud would call psychoanalysis) and the creation of many of the concepts that we consider banal today – such as those of matter and logic.
