“Who are we next to the Nativity Scene” continues the previous video: “Christmas Star shines over the world”. Both are excerpts from “Next to the Nativity Scene”, perhaps the most beautiful of the twenty-six Christmas articles written by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira. Director of “Legionário”, the official organ of the Archdiocese of São Paulo and the most influential Catholic newspaper in the Land of the Holy Cross, Dr. Plinio was the opposite of the Revolution, since his childhood, when he was shocked by the addition, multiplication and synthesis of all evils. This opposition to everything revolutionary, the fruit of his love for Jesus and Mary, the Church and Christianity, forged in Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira the soldier of Christ, the warrior of the Virgin, the paladin of the Church, the defender of Christianity. If he were to write memoirs, he said, the title could be: “Everything is a struggle for me!” And he concluded: “Whoever wrote “Everything is a struggle for me!”, if his struggle was fought for the good and according to good principles, that man would deserve to have as his epitaph: “Everything was his glory!”. The evidence of his life and the plethora of documents demonstrate how much Dr. Plinio deserved it! However, he wanted and received another epitaph, resplendent with sublime glory: “Vir Catholicus et Apostolicus plenæ Romanus – “Catholic and Apostolic man, fully Roman”. The timbre of authenticity in the article “Next to the Nativity” resounds like thunder, in the excerpt here transformed into a video. Here are his words of gold and fire: In the midst of contemporary desolation, the great influx of men, races and nations around You is, Lord, the only consolation, the only hope that remains. And in the midst of so many, here we are too. We are on our knees, and we look at You. See us, Lord, and consider us with compassion. Here we are, and we want to talk to You. Us? Who are we? Those who do not bend both knees, or even just one knee, before Baal. Those who have Your Law written in the bronze of our soul, and do not allow the doctrines of this century to engrave their errors on this sacred bronze that Your Redemption has made. @PlinioCôrreaDeOlveira @Natalino @Natal
