Is Greece more expensive or Turkey? We are here to research the subject that the whole country is discussing madly. Despite the exchange rate difference, there are many people who claim that food and drink are offered at more affordable prices in the Greek islands compared to Turkey. In fact, with the upcoming holiday extended to 9 days, many Turkish citizens are planning to prefer the Greek islands rather than holiday resorts in Turkey. Especially the islands with the visa application on arrival. Chios (Sakiz Island) close to Çeşme, Kos close to Bodrum, Lesvos (Midilli), Rhodes and Samos close to Ayvalık... In order to research this subject, we visited the Turkish (Cunda Island) and Greek (Midilli/Lesvos) islands before the Eid al-Adha and did a price and taste research.
