Gradually changing from a liquid to a soft diet 4. Proper positioning for sleeping 5. Recovery in the first seven days **Pain, bleeding and swelling as main concerns 6. Use of ice in the first 24 hours 7. Transition to a soft liquid diet on the second day 8. Observation of swelling and bruising 9. Attention to persistent fever 10. Proliferative phase of healing (from the third day) 11. Tissue growth in the operated area 12. Possible increase in swelling and bruising 13. Limited opening of the mouth (trismus) and its gradual reduction 14. Signs of infection and additional care 15. Persistent fever (temperature above 37.5°C) 16. Difficulty opening the mouth (prolonged trismus) 17. Contact the professional responsible for the surgery 18. Revision and removal of stitches 19. Patient review between the fourth and sixth day 20. Removal of stitches around 14 days 21. Gradually returning to normal diet.
