A young Serbian actress, a Bellucci beauty who has been enjoying the public's attention lately, all thanks to her endless talent that she shows through imitations that she gladly shares on her social networks, and most of all with her masterful acting in the hit monodrama "NINA?" for which she won the award for best actress and the audience award for best monodrama at the recent International Festival of Small Stages and Monodramas in East Sarajevo. Her name is Nikolina Vujević, with an "e" (not an "o") in her last name, and she is the guest of a new episode of your favorite podcast. We know that this Friday is Friday the 13th, but let's get this straight - regardless of any superstitions you may have, Opet Laka is worth watching on Friday the 13th. Two American "returnees" found many topics for conversation, tried to answer the question of what is art and what is not, explained why it is better to be "your own boss" and what money really buys, and Nikolina told us how she got to America in the first place and what made her leave her country, at least for a short time. After the third year of college, I was sick of the academy, acting, and the Balkans, and I said I'm going somewhere to see the world a little, I'm going to fly a little, and so I went to America through a program and worked on an island, I was looking to go somewhere where there aren't many of our people. I cleaned bathrooms, worked as a waitress, all kinds of things, I did multiple jobs. It was very difficult to go to that program from the academy because my exams don't depend only on me, I have a class that I depend on and because of that I didn't have so much time to travel, but I visited New York. Those seven days in New York changed my life. I took the opportunity and went to Broadway to see my favorite musical "Chicago", Nikolina said. However, returning to real life after the "American dream" was not easy. I returned to Novi Sad from Manhattan, fell into depression and decided to make a monodrama. It's a very big shock, because at such a young age you get into a situation where you work, and are paid very well for it, and you suddenly see some money that you've never seen in your life. It has its advantages, it was not easy to live in those bathrooms, but you know why you do it, explained Nikolina. Do you like our content?
