The Jari River divides two states, Pará and Amapá. It separates Laranjal do Jari, in Amapá, from Monte Dourado, in Pará. Laranjal was once known as Beiradão, the largest river slum in Brazil. Today, it is a progressive municipality in Amapá. Monte Dourado was created to house the employees of the Jari Project, with all the infrastructure to properly serve employees coming from all over Brazil and the world. We went to Santo Antônio Waterfall, a prestigious place for those who enjoy adventure and natural beauty.
