The town of Silent Hill in Maine is one of the most chilling and mysterious places we have ever seen in the world of video games and in the horror and fiction genre, being a fairly emblematic place where almost all the games in the Silent Hill franchise take place and which is a kind of living place or an entity as such which calls some people who have darkness in their hearts to feed on it and consume them, which is why for those people it manifests some very chilling things that are relevant to them. With the release of the new video game from Bloober Team and Konami that is Silent Hill 2 Remake I have decided that it is convenient to thoroughly explore the mythology that surrounds the town of Silent Hill and why so many supernatural and strange things happen in this place, I will also tell you about what connection have the people who visit this place and who are affected by the town and why the supernatural power that existed in these lands since time immemorial was corrupted over the centuries and with the expulsion of the original inhabitants of this place, I will also explain how the colonization of North America by Europeans and different acts of pure evil, corrupted and distorted that supernatural power, transforming it into something completely different from what it was in the beginning and turning everything into a kind of force of nature that feeds on the darkness present in the hearts of humans and that manifests the unconscious thoughts of the people it affects.
