Lúcia Helena Galvão tells the story of her 30-year career as a volunteer teaching philosophy. In addition to volunteering and social assistance, the philosophy practiced by Lúcia is a true education in values. Lúcia Helena Galvão Maya is a philosophy teacher at the New Acropolis organization in Brazil. She has been with the organization for 30 years and is one of its oldest and most active speakers. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she currently lives in Brasília, where she teaches classes on a wide range of topics: ethics, sociopolitics, symbology, history of philosophy, among others. A poet, she has published four books, in addition to producing articles and chronicles that are frequently published in the press throughout the country. She also regularly gives lectures and conferences to large audiences in Brazil and other countries. On the internet, she is a phenomenon on social media and YouTube, where she has thousands of followers and has accumulated more than 16 million views of her lectures.
