Amsterdam is known for its beautiful canals and unique architecture. But for many, when they think of the Dutch capital, the first thing that comes to mind is: MARIJUANA - hahaha. Many tourists visit the Netherlands with the intention of consuming cannabis and products made with the herb. And the city, of course, knows how to exploit this very well. You can find everything that is a product made with marijuana: lollipops, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, juices... Not to mention marijuana souvenirs. We visited the first coffee shop in the world, Bulldog, and also went to several shops dedicated to selling products from the Dutch cannabis scene. But of course, not everything is rosy. Cannabis is not exactly legalized in the Netherlands - it is more like tolerated - the correct term would be decriminalized. And behind this, there are several controversies and inconsistencies in how the process of production, commercialization and consumption of marijuana works, and we address this in this video. Several countries around the world have followed this same path of decriminalization, not only for recreational use, but also for medicinal use and the use of hemp (a variety of cannabis) to manufacture industrial products.
