Deconstruct your thoughts, think, reflect and reinvent your way of living in society with the teachings and life stories of the incredible Manoel Soares, Reporter and Presenter for TV Globo. Manoel Soares was born in Boca do Rio, a suburb of Salvador/Bahia and has worked for 20 years in the areas of communication processes and social management. State President of CUFA RS – Central Única das Favelas, he also works as a reporter and presenter for TV Globo, is a writer, speaker and media educator. Throughout his career as a communicator, he has dedicated himself to showing the positive and constructive aspects of favelas and peripheries and has accumulated awards, among them the 50th Ari Journalism Award and the Journalism Excellence Award from the Inter-American Press Association (IAPA). In addition to her experience in radio and newspapers, she actively participated in the Crack Nem Pensar Campaign, which addressed the issue of preventing crack use and reached more than 12 million people in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. She also developed the Papo Reto project. An initiative carried out since 2008, she visited more than 240 cities in Rio Grande do Sul and 10 Brazilian states, reaching more than 800 thousand people, mostly young people, public and private managers and the community in general.
