In this video, I'll show you with two very simple examples how you can use the majorant criterion or minorant criterion to show the convergence or divergence of series. Once you understand the principle, the majorant or minorant criterion is perfect for series that aren't actually that complicated, but which contain, for example, an annoying constant that you'd like to get rid of.
