Happy birthday Derincesi! The curriculum of the Mathematics Olympiad is divided into four main topics: geometry, number theory, analysis and combinatorics. Questions in all Olympiad exams are written and selected according to these topics. In this video, we talked to young Olympiad students to introduce each of these four sub-topics of mathematics and solved a sample Olympiad question from each area. Enjoy watching! Eren's footage for this video was taken at the İstanbul Atatürk Science High School, where the Derincesi team graduated; and Gınalı's footage was taken at Koç University. In the video, not only our usual narrators but also a significant part of the İAFL Mathematics Olympiad team are present and introduce themselves. The first stage exam of the mathematics branch was held by TÜBİTAK within the scope of the 31st Science Olympiad on June 25. In this exam, where more than 14 thousand students in total applied in 8 different branches, 440 students won the right to participate in the summer camp and the second stage exam. As the Derincesi Mathematics team, we have put together all the questions and solutions of the mathematics branch of this exam in a playlist.
