Time for another trip. This time it's time for West Pomerania, where I set off on a hike along the Terminal Moraine Hills Trail. Ahead of me is the Drawskie Lakeland, 6 days and about 170 km of walking through beautiful post-glacial areas, among forests and lakes. Terminal Moraine Hills Trail - day 1 Date: July 22, 2022 Stage: Złocieniec - Czaplinek Daily distance - 33 km Distance from the beginning of the route - 33 km Distance to the finish line - 148 km I am finally on a trail that is close to my heart. Well, maybe not the trail itself, but the areas through which it leads. I will also see that the Drawskie Lakeland, through which the trail leads, is really beautiful. This morning I set off from Złocieniec and, following the green signs, delved into this beautiful land. The beautifully undulating landscape, forests and lakes allowed me to feel the atmosphere of the places I passed. The West Pomeranian Voivodeship is beautiful. Poland is beautiful and I am convinced of that once again. For me, it is, in a way, a sentimental journey and it will soon become clear why ???? I am spending the night at a campsite in Czaplinek. This town located right next to the lake, reflects the character, history and beauty of these areas very well. Although I do not intend to visit the city, a small episode related to this place appeared ???? Terminal Moraine Hills Trail - day 2 Date: July 23, 2022 Stage: Czaplinek - Piława Daily distance - 30km Distance from the start of the route - 63km Distance to the finish line - 118km The night at the campsite in Czaplinek was difficult. Until midnight, a disco was playing near my accommodation, it was really loud. A moment after one o'clock, a group of people came to the tent next to mine in a very good condition and I had to listen to the life stories of my neighbors and listen to a bit too loud music from a portable speaker ???? In the morning I set off on the trail, the weather was not kind and for the first 10 km it rained almost the whole time. In addition, about 12 km had to be walked on asphalt. It's good that at least Drahim Castle made a good impression. Although poorly preserved, the courtyard is interestingly organized. When it stopped raining and I entered the forest, mosquitoes attacked me and in such numbers that it was difficult for me to get rid of them. The only thing I could do was to walk quickly. Unfortunately, this had a slight impact on the film because when I tried to set up the tripod, the mosquitoes took advantage of the situation and bit with all their might. Fortunately, I managed to record something. The sleepless night affected me a lot. I was weak and when I saw a campsite around 30km, I didn't hesitate for a moment ???? The tent is already up, the food is cooking and I only dream of lying down. Tomorrow will be a good day ???? See you in the next part of the film in a week Shortcuts: 00:00 Złocieniec 03:46 Cieszyno 07:14 Siemczyno 10:43 Czaplinek 15:30 Drahim Castle 23:14 Piława - Campsite by the lake Best regards and I wish you wonderful Vibrations Darek ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I invite you to my Facebook page where I try to share current places that I visit and to the extent possible report on my expeditions. / wiatrezycia ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #Zachodniopomorskie #PojezierzeDrawskie #lSzlakWzniosłońMorenyCzołowej
