One thing is certain: we live in an unstable, complex and highly unpredictable world. In this scenario, relationships and communication between people, which seem to be facilitated by technological means, are increasingly facing intense challenges and conflicts of all kinds continue to occur. Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a methodology created by psychologist Marshall Rosemberg in the USA in the 1960s, and which has since been gaining popularity worldwide in mediating conflicts, whether family, organizational or political. NVC is currently present in more than 65 countries associated with Restorative Justice models. Its goal is to improve the way we listen and speak and consequently develop interpersonal relationships based on mutual respect, compassion and cooperation.
