We probably don't even realize how beautiful our country is because most of the time we look in the wrong direction. I went off-roading to the village where only one man lives, in Morțești, because I was curious to see what this village looks like, what the people do there and how hard their lives are. What I discovered on the way completely surprised me. I left Cluj-Napoca with my Suzuki Samurai, 1.3 petrol, prepared for disaster, MT tires, new 6.8 ton Grizzly winch, LED bar, hi lift jack, metal bar and alongside my friend Andrei, with his car, Toyota Hilux 2019, properly equipped for off-road with winch, good tires, modified suspension, LED bar, etc. On the way, I came across an ostrich farm and a small family business, with some brilliant people, a lady who apparently lived alone in the valley, with no neighbors but with animals and a very large household and finally, the gentleman who lives alone in Morțești and raises animals. I know it wasn't a real off-road story, with winches, problems and adrenaline, but it was a story of the soul in which I explored the true treasure of this country: the simple people of the countryside.
