Before Christ, our identity was built on selfishness, pride, and seeking external validation. However, when we experience God’s grace through the cross, this ego is transformed. We stop living for ourselves and start living for God and others, with humility and genuine service. The transformed ego finds its identity not in achievement or the approval of others, but in God’s unconditional love and acceptance. This leads to a life of purpose, inner peace, and healthier relationships. This video is based on the book “Self Transformation” by Timothy Keller.
