I had been eyeing The Poppy War (https://amzn.to/3aFpgKo) for a while, but after watching a video by @ResenhandoSonhos I was convinced. It had been a while since a fantasy book had caught my attention so much, so I took advantage of the excitement and bet on this story that has very strong references to the history and mythology of China and the Second Sino-Japanese War. Result? I read a book of +600 pages (in e-book) in two days. It was worth the investment, hahahaha. My goal is to bring the habit of reading to more and more people. I usually favorite sad books, so don't be surprised by my recommendations here ☺ Don't compare yourself to my reading pace, because that's what I work with, okay?
