Prof. MUDr. Vladimír Krčméry DrSc. (* July 23, 1960, Bratislava) is a Slovak doctor, scientist - specialist in tropical medicine, infectious diseases, oncology, university teacher, founder of medical, social facilities and foreign humanitarian missions in third world countries. He is the founder, rector and statutory representative of the private University of Health and Social Work St. Elizabeth in Bratislava (2002). In 2007, on his initiative, the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic established the National Reference Center for Tropical Diseases in Bratislava as a specialized workplace of the ÚVZ SR at VŠZaSP St. Elizabeth in Bratislava.
