Denmark had large and detailed plans for what would happen if the Cold War turned hot and World War III broke out. Around 1,400 Cold War facilities were built across Denmark. One of them is the nuclear bunker REGAN Vest. It was built in secret from 1962 to 1968 because of fears of a nuclear war between the Soviet Union and the United States.
