A referee who was assaulted during a supporters' tournament in De Kuip was asked by an employee of the Supporters' Affairs department to resolve the matter "outside of justice". This is evident from research by BOOS and NRC, based on previously undisclosed criminal files, apps, e-mails and conversations with those involved.
