The XV episode of the XIV series of Borghi d'Italia takes us to the Puglia Region to discover the hidden treasures of Torremaggiore in the province of Foggia. During the program we meet the mayor, the parish priest, the chef, the representatives of the Borgo Antico Association and the other associations that every year recall with the historical parade, flag-wavers and archers, the era of Emperor Frederick II who died in 1250 in his domus of Castel Fiorentino in Torremaggiore. We visit the historic center, the ducal castle, the civic museum, the Mother Church of San Nicola, the church of the patron saint San Sabino, the sanctuary of Maria SS. della Fontana and the suggestive archaeological area of Castel Fiorentino. There will also be traditional local dishes and other local specialties, led by the exquisite oil extracted from the Peranzana olive. Enjoy the show! .
