Video -2 How to install light and heavy clamps on steel cable. This video covers the minimum requirements for installing the terminal for steel cable - light and heavy clamps. The correct way to install them will be shown, following the recommendations of NBR11900-4:2016. The use of these accessories is intended for creating steel cable loops as well as splices, and can be applied to all branches of industry, such as oil, petrochemical, chemical, civil construction, shipbuilding, wind, automotive, steel, mining, electrical, telecommunications, agriculture, public-private companies, public agencies, among others. ATTENTION: The installation of light and heavy clamps on steel cable to form loops or splices must be guided and supervised by a legally qualified professional (PLH). The responsibility for using the techniques presented, as well as the equipment, lies solely with the viewer watching the video, which is intended to address the minimum regulatory requirements for safe installation in accordance with the recommendations of NBR11900-4:2016. When applying clamps, the installer must be able to perform the techniques safely and assume responsibility for his actions and, possibly, those of his team and the people under his responsibility, including the risks of physical injury and death.
