???? MY GUIDE TO THE VIA DEGLI DEI: https://amzn.to/3L8pk1s The Ferrata Piazzatte al Boe is perhaps one of the most difficult via ferratas in the Dolomites. Its first 40m of wall are steep, with few holds and mostly all greasy. The approach begins at Passo Pordoi where you can leave your car. Continue following the directions for the Ossario del Pordoi. From there, turn left and take the steep path that leads to the start of the via ferrata. In total, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the parking lot. The via ferrata lasts another hour and a half without a hitch, it took me 2 hours because of the very hard first passage where I tried to use the very greasy holds but without success. For this reason I had to pull myself up on the cable. Another very hard point is the small chimney/crack where I had to secure my backpack to the harness. The bridge is actually one of the easiest parts of the route. From the end of the equipped part begins the steep climb to Più Boè and the Capanna Fassa refuge. It does not present any difficulties but you can arrive very tired in this last stretch so you need to be very careful! All my gear: https://www.walkingnose.com Instagram: / walkingnose
