Veppo is a small Ligurian hamlet in the province of La Spezia divided into four nuclei immersed in a verdant secondary valley of the Val di Vara, a land belonging to the historical Lunigiana. In the past it experienced the fate common to many places in the mountains, a strong emigration. In fact, most of its inhabitants headed in search of fortune towards Argentina, England and France. But today these small villages are the destination of a reverse migration, made up of people who move there, even from far away, attracted by the beauty of the place and the peace that can be felt there. People in search of places where, even today, life takes on a dimension that is increasingly being lost.
