Today I enter the Western massif of the Picos de Europa to make a two-day journey alone in the mountains. From the Covadonga Lakes I follow the PR.PNPE-5 trail to the Vegarredonda Refuge. From there, I will follow the Anillo de Picos itinerary (Vindio ring) to reach the Vegabaño Refuge. A hard journey, which requires spending the night in Vega Huerta at the foot of the Holy Tower.
