'Estadão' itinerary is full of surprises about USP's history Ninety years of history, as the University of São Paulo (USP) completes on Thursday, the 25th, are difficult to recount. But what memory fails to remember or does not record can also be revisited through architecture. From iconic buildings to monuments, to celebrate USP's nine-decade anniversary, Estadão went to nine places to find out what they can tell us about the institution itself and also about the city's history. Throughout the itinerary, Estadão was accompanied by the team from USP's Cultural Preservation Center (CPC). Interns Marina Gazzoli Pio, architect and urban planner from the School of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU), and Rodrigo Augusto das Neves, a student at FAU, presented the buildings.
