A few months ago, I received a letter in the mail from a girl saying that she was of unknown parentage, and that she had a different story that she wanted to tell people, and to help those who are going through the same story. Reem, the guest of this episode, is still in university, and has a foster family that loves her. Although it is a sad episode, it is full of important stories and lessons in the lives of those of unknown parentage, whether those who live in an orphanage or are fostered by a family. Reem says that she has been through many situations that made her feel as if she was guilty, and she hated being of unknown parentage. Although she lives in a loving family, the feeling of insecurity and fear of returning to the orphanage at any time remains the most difficult feeling. I asked her about her story of adoption, and the acceptance of the extended family to the presence of an adopted child, about the nature of life before and during school, as in the latter she was exposed to many bad situations.
