The tribune "King Alexander the First Karađorđević the Unifier" was held on Tuesday, May 22, in the "Youth Tribune" Club of the Cultural Center of Novi Sad. The author and lecturer was MSc Ognjen Karanović, historian. At the beginning of the forum, Karanović said that not only the name of Josip Broz Tito marked the existence of Yugoslavia. A few decades before the communists came to power in Yugoslavia, the founder and first ruler of the Yugoslav state, the Knight King Aleksandar Prvi Karađorđević (1888-1934), the great-grandson of the leader Karađorđe, also enjoyed great trust, fame and sympathy of the elite, but also of the broadest layers of the population in many countries of the world at that time, especially in Europe.
