In El Chaltén we are going to do the most valued trekking in the area, the one to Laguna de los Tres. Without a doubt it is one of the greatest experiences we have ever undertaken in our lives, the walk lasted 10 uninterrupted hours, we left in the rain and cold, on the way we had frost, white wind and snow, but the reward for the effort has been great, when we arrived at the Poincenot camp it began to clear, the sun appeared and the spectacle was wonderful. The demand has not been minor, that last kilometer (which seems much more) of climbing, with abundant snow has been hard. When we arrived at Laguna de los Tres the reward has been enormous, the views of El Chaltén and the basalt peaks, glaciers and imposing contrasts have been a great reward! On the way back we met several giant woodpeckers, who offered us a wonderful show. We closed the afternoon by having dinner at La Waflería, where we gave ourselves some guilt-free treats!
