The Nordhausen meter-gauge tram also runs along the Harzquerbahn to Ilfeld. Since this route has no overhead line, the tram has to run on this line. The transition from the tram network to the narrow-gauge railway network takes place at the Hauptbahnhof stop. The process is shown in this film.
