In 2012, the department had a great opportunity to practice the demolition of a damaged building. During the training in the village of Nekoř, the recovery vehicle VYA 15, the wheel loader KN 251, the universal finishing machine UDS 114a and the Tatra T815 8x8 VT tractor were used. Demolition of statically disturbed buildings or their parts is usually carried out several times a year by members of the Rescue Department of the HZS CR. Most often, these are statically damaged buildings affected by floods, fires, or explosions. The originally used army equipment was gradually replaced by modern machines, which expanded the possibilities of demolition during strikes.
