Friends, this video is about a two-day route of two comrades to my forest hut made of huge windfall logs in winter. A silent film. I have long wanted to get to the hut in winter, bought a used low-power snowmobile for this purpose and having loaded it with gear, together with my friend Kostya Turm, we sharpened our skis to the hut. First on the ice of Lake Ladoga, then through the snow-capped mountains, going around rocks and abatis, we did not manage to get to the hut in the first daylight hours. In a straight line we fell 800 meters short. We spent the night at minus 17 and got to the hut in the morning. We visited the hut, rode along the lakes, visited familiar beavers. We were surprised by the abundance of wild boar and elk tracks, the loss of the second camera trap and set off on the return journey.
